I’ve talked a little bit about getting healthy and fitness on the blog but what you may not know is that I’m super lazy when it comes to working out. I also get SO BORED when my workouts are the same day after day. Anyone else have this problem? Between that and my busy schedule, if I’m going to stick to a workout program or routine, it needs to be easy for me to do at home.
Bikini Body Guide
Bikini Body Guide is a workout that I found via Instagram sometime last year. I’ve started and stopped it at least 5 times in the last year but this time I’m determined to get through the entire 12 week program. If you have no idea what I’m talking about you can read more about it here but basically each workout is 28 minutes and extremely easy to do at your own home! The fact that these workouts are at-home friendly and take less than half an hour are perfect for anyone who’s busy and doesn’t necessarily want to hit up the gym. But don’t think because these workouts are quick that they’re easy. I sweat my butt off with each workout and I’m definitely sore for a few days after. If you’re looking for a challenging workout, definitely check these out! You can even get a set complete with a meal plan. Need convincing that it works? Check out Kayla’s Instagram or search the hashtag #BBG on Instagram for real life progress pics. I’ll be posting my first set this coming Monday so make sure you’re following me on Instagram so you don’t miss out!
Post It Note Calendar
Since I’m no longer in school I find that I don’t really use a typical planner anymore. Besides my Erin Condren planner that I use for wedding planning and to carry around in my bag, my other planner just kind of sits on my desk. I’ve been using it to keep track of important dates and bills but have typically just been using the monthly views. Since I’m barely using half the planner I couldn’t justify spending $50 on a new one when this one runs up in a few months. On our latest trip to Target, Justin actually picked up this Post It Note planner and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying using it so far! This calendar is meant to be used with each line and Post It color for different people but right now I’m trying to use it like you would a standard monthly calendar. I also think I’m going to try out bullet journaling. If you want to see more in-depth posts on how I use this Post It Note Calendar or setting up my bullet journal, let me know!
Jimmy Choo Lance Sandals
Y’all. I did it, I bought the shoes. I think there’s a quote about that, right? If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen me doing my happy dance with the bag after purchasing these shoes. It was seriously meant to be. After researching them for two weeks and an unsuccessful shoe day the day before, I took to the outlet mall to see if I could find them at a Saks Off Fifth. Little did I know that my local outlet mall actually has a Jimmy Choo outlet! I couldn’t believe it when the saleswoman told me that they had them in my size and brand new (not the display) and that they were $300 less than retail. I can’t wait to wear these for all of the events we have this coming year but most importantly, for our wedding day!
